Adding a new four legged member to the family? We offer a prep course for the whole family! Recommended for new pet owners, either prior to adding a pet to the family, or during their first week in their new home. Educational consult geared towards children of any age. Topics covered include playing, feeding, water, crate training, walking, and more! For new pet owners, we will prepare you for your first visit with a veterinarian! We will discuss what to expect at your first appointment. This is helpful if not all family members are able to attend the first vet. appointment, you feel overwhelmed with all the information, and/or you want to make it more fun and engaging for young children! This consult is one hour. Scheduled in your home. If no pet has been added to the family yet, we will bring stuffed animals to educate with.
We will also provide learning hand-outs. We are also able to provide recommendations, although Little Vets Club can not provide medical advice.
